Make a Challenge Court
Set one up when you create the open play, or select Make a court a Challenge Court below the main queue. IKOT picks your last court. Choose a Win cap from 1 to 10 games in a row; 3 is the default.
Line up challengers
On the Challenge Court card, add a challenger doubles side, or a player on a Singles court. Sides wait in order on the right of the card. If the court is still finishing a regular game, pairs can line up now and play when it is free.
Start the challenge
With two challenger sides in line, select Start Challenge. The first two sides play. If a side can't start yet, the card says why, so Start is never offered when it would fail.
Winners stay up to the cap
Tap the winning side. Winners stay on and the next side in line steps up. When winners reach the Win cap, they go back to the main queue so the court keeps turning over.
Losers rejoin or challenge again
The losing side goes back to the main queue. Select Challenge again to put them at the end of the challenger line instead. Their place and games in the main queue are kept.
Questions
Does a Challenge Court make the main queue unfair?
No. Players in the challenger line keep their games played and waiting history. When they come back, the main queue picks up where it left off.
Can a player in Up Next also line up for the Challenge Court?
Yes. They keep their game, the card notes they join the line after it, and Start Challenge skips their side until they are free.
Can I switch a court that is mid-game?
Yes. The court shows Starts after the current game. Select Cancel switch to keep it on the regular queue and release the early line.
Can I run a Challenge Court in a DUPR rated session?
Not yet. Challenge Court is available in Classic open play.
