Pick a Game Mode
Club vs Club puts teammates from one Club against another Club. Mixed Clubs puts one player from each of two Clubs on every team, so it needs Doubles. Choose it when you create the open play, or later in Session Settings.
Name your Clubs
Start with two Clubs and add up to six. With three or more Clubs, Club vs Club rotates which Clubs meet so every Club keeps playing. Rename or add Clubs any time in Session Settings.
Put players in Clubs
Once play starts, tap a waiting player and choose Move to a Club. Their place in line, games played and rest stay the same. Players who are not in a Club wait in Unassigned.
Choose who plays on each court
Every court follows the session's Game Mode unless you change it in Court settings. Club courts only take Club players. Make a court Open so Unassigned players get games too.
Fix a short Club
Club rules are never relaxed to fill a court. When a Club lane says it needs more players, move a player into that Club or make the court Open.
Questions
Does moving a player to another Club reset their wait?
No. Their place in line, games played and rest carry over. Only the Club they play for changes.
What happens to players who are not in a Club?
They wait in Unassigned and play on Open courts. On Club courts, every player needs a Club.
Can I change the Game Mode during play?
Yes, in Session Settings. Games already playing or locked keep their mode. New games use the new mode.
Can I use Club Game Modes in a DUPR rated session?
Not yet. Club Game Modes are available in Classic sessions.
